About The Position

Eventide-Fargo is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) to work 32 hours per pay period. The shifts are from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM on various weekdays, with rotation for every other weekend and holiday. The C.N.A. will assist in meeting residents' physical, mental, spiritual, psychological, and social needs, following established nursing care procedures under the supervision of the charge nurse.

Requirements

Current North Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant license

Responsibilities

Provide individualized attention to encourage residents' highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing.
Carry out and follow the assigned resident care plan at all times.
Attend to individual resident needs, including assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, transferring, ambulation, and range of motion exercises as indicated on the care plan.
Maintain resident comfort, privacy, and dignity while interacting with warmth and compassion.
Follow policies and procedures regarding safety for residents, others, property, and self.
Comply with rules and regulations set by the North Dakota Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
Understand and uphold residents' rights, including the right to be free from restraints, abuse, and neglect, and promptly report any violations.
Assist in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment.
Promptly answer residents' call lights and alarms.
Perform tasks such as checking vital signs and residents' weights, and applying lotions.
Lift, move, and transport residents using appropriate equipment (gait belt, one-person/two-person transfer, Hoyer lift, standing lift) as identified by the care plan.
Assist and escort residents for appointments and activities as needed.
Document and record care provided and other pertinent information.
Follow proper safety and infection control procedures, including hand washing, glove use, and proper disposal of soiled materials.
Assist with resident personal laundry as needed.
