About The Position

As a CNA in our Memory Care community , you will play a vital role in supporting residents living with memory loss by providing compassionate care, structure, and reassurance throughout their daily routines. You will assist residents with activities of daily living while helping create a calm, supportive environment.

Requirements

• Active CNA in good standing on the NC Health Care Personnel Registry
• Completion of an approved CNA training program
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role

Nice To Haves

• Experience in memory care or dementia care preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Support mobility, transfers, and repositioning
• Provide reassurance and engagement for residents with memory loss
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Document care and follow individualized care plans
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
• Follow all safety and infection control guidelines
