About The Position
AffiniCare, Care Initiatives’ internal staffing agency, is now hiring Mobile & Flexible nursing positions for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). This role offers a customizable schedule that fits your personal life, whether you prefer full-time or part-time hours. As a CNA with AffiniCare, you will have the flexibility to choose your preferred working hours and travel to multiple Care Initiatives locations within an area to assist with open shifts. AffiniCare provides licensed staff to Care Initiatives’ 43 skilled nursing communities, and our team of competent and compassionate CNAs enjoy working in various settings while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Six (6) months of verifiable experience working as a CNA.
- Active CNA certification.
- The ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within your region.
- Must live in a reasonable driving distance from Care Initiatives communities.
Responsibilities
- Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
- Provide health monitoring including conducting routine vital checks.
- Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.
