About The Position
Shore Acres Care Center is undergoing a renewal and is looking for dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join their team. The facility has been updated after temporary closure due to hurricanes. The role involves working collaboratively with a supportive nursing team in a respectful environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved CNA program
- Active CNA certification (state-required)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills with compassionate bedside manner
- Team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask while maintaining safety and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility)
- Deliver meals and assist residents with dining needs
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Offer comfort measures such as ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths
- Support nurses and interdisciplinary team members
- Build meaningful connections with residents and families
- Respond calmly and confidently in fast-paced or critical situations
