About The Position

This role is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is passionate about making a meaningful impact through empathetic, person-centered care and thrives in a collaborative culture. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the CNA provides patient care and may perform selected nursing procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. The CNA is responsible for transporting non-controlled medications to and from the pharmacy. This role supports the nursing staff by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed, collaborating with the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.
Requirements
- Current Certification with the CA Department of Health Services Licensing & Certification Board
- Current CPR Certification
- Must demonstrate technical competence, communication skills and sensitivity for the hospitalized patient and family.
- Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Responsibilities
- Give patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Perform selected nursing procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual.
- Transport non-controlled medications to and from pharmacy.
- Provide a support function to the nurse by coordinating special tasks and assisting where needed.
- Collaborate with other members of the patient care team to provide care in accordance with the medical plan of care.
