About The Position
A Genesis HealthCare Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides daily patient care, assists with activities of daily living, and monitors vital signs under nurse supervision.
Requirements
- Finish a state-approved CNA training program and GNA training program.
- Hold a current, active CNA certification and GNA certification.
- Read, write, and speak English to communicate with staff and patients.
- Show compassion and respect for patient rights.
Responsibilities
- Help patients with daily living needs like feeding, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Take and record vital signs, weights, blood pressure, and temperature.
- Turn, position, and move residents safely.
- Change bed linens and keep rooms clean.
- Report changes in patient health or behavior to licensed nurses.
