About The Position
Centurion is seeking a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their Medical team at Shawnee Correctional Center in Vienna, Illinois. CNAs will provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under the supervision of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff. Responsibilities include assisting patients with personal hygiene, daily living needs, and monitoring vital signs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
- CNA licensure in Maryland required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
- One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
Responsibilities
