About The Position

Join BrightStar Care of North Miami as a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and become part of a supportive team dedicated to helping seniors and older adults live safely, comfortably, and independently at home. We offer flexible scheduling for full-time, part-time, weekend, evening, or live-in opportunities designed to work around your life. This role involves providing compassionate, dependable support to clients in their own homes, assisting with personal care, accompanying them on outings, supporting mobility exercises, reporting changes in condition, and providing companionship to help clients maintain their independence.

Requirements

Valid Florida CNA certification/license in good standing
High school diploma or GED
Valid CPR certification
Physical and negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
Successful completion of required drug screening and motor vehicle background screening
Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

Spanish-speaking skills preferred

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
Accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, pharmacies, and other outings
Assist clients with active and passive mobility exercises according to their plan of care
Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the Director of Nursing
Provide companionship and day-to-day assistance while helping clients maintain their independence
