About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for the delivery of optimum quality care to patients while in the Excel Program. This is a part-time (0.75 FTE) role working straight days, which would be a combination of 12-hour shifts (0700-1900) and partial shifts out of our Eagan & Edina locations. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Requirements

  • CNA certification
  • 3-5 years of surgical floor nursing assistance experience
  • Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with treatments ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Tend to patients regarding personal care and activities of daily living
  • Coordinates with medical professionals regarding the patient’s condition
  • Reports finding or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff
  • Assists the RN with diagnostic tests
  • Collects specimens and delivers them to the laboratory department
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply inventory in patent room
  • Assist with transfers and ambulation of patients
  • Turnover rooms to support patient discharges and admissions
  • Any and all other duties as assigned
