About The Position
This role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, supporting patients with special needs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is also required.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Cerner
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Provide support to patients with special needs, including those with behavioral health conditions
