At Logan Health, our Acute Care team is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patients with daily care needs, promote comfort and safety, and assist the care team in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care, teamwork, and supporting patients during their hospital stay.

Requirements

  • Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate.
  • Current CPR certification as applicable to assigned area.
  • Must possess an understanding of confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines.

  • Previous work experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting a team-focused environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and learn other software systems as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership.
  • Support patients with activities of daily living.
  • Obtain and report vital signs.
  • Document care accurately.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
  • Communicate with nursing leadership and appropriate team members to help coordinate patient care priorities, report changes in condition, and support daily department operations.
  • Assist with restocking supplies.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and safety.
  • Support a positive patient care experience.
