About The Position

Generations at Applewood in Matteson, IL is seeking CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTS (CNAs) to work the Evening shift (3p-11p), which is a Full-Time position. This role requires working every other weekend and includes a $2/hr. shift differential. Generations at Applewood is a State-of-the-Art, 24-hour rehabilitation and skilled nursing community offering quality healthcare services to residents throughout the Chicagoland area. They recently opened a Complex Care Respiratory Unit.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from the State of Illinois - NO WAIVERS ACCEPTED
• At least 2 years experience as a CNA
• Must be 18 years of age
• Up-to-date flu vaccination receipt or bone fide religious or medical exemption
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• CPR Certified
• Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH and HFS regulations as related to job duties
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
• Professionalism and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents.
• Work the Evening shift (3p-11p).
• Work every other weekend.

Benefits

• $19 - 22 per hour depending on status and benefits selected
• $2/HR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL FOR 2nd shift
