About The Position
Preferred Professional Services (PPS), an affiliate of National Health Care Associates, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for per diem shifts at its long-term care and rehabilitation facilities. All shifts are available, with opportunities for temp-to-hire. The role involves providing compassionate, personalized care to residents, assisting with daily activities, monitoring health, offering emotional support, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Weekly pay is offered.
Requirements
- Valid state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Interest in the nursing needs of aged and chronically ill people, with the ability to work with both.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Dedication to upholding high standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record residents’ vital signs.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
