About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) delivers personal care and minimal homemaker services that promote a safe and clean patient environment to hospice patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, or long-term care facilities. Services are provided in accordance with Hosparus Health policies and the CNA plan of care. The CNA also participates in developing policies and procedures that guide the provision of hospice care.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with on-call requirements. The service area includes Louisville and surrounding communities.

Requirements

• CNA certification in the state where hired, or an active LPN or RN license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Auto insurance coverage.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred.
• One year of home health aide or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Experience using technology-based tools, including an electronic medical record, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
