About The Position

Requirements

Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of two years of high school
Active CNA certification in the state of Illinois
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand and walk a minimum of 90% of working time
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
Basic computer skills
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed
Serve meals and assist with feeding as necessary
Document patient care and observations accurately and timely
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
