About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the MST department assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. The CNA works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Huntington Beach Hospital is a 131-bed acute-care community hospital and a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation. The hospital is fully accredited by The Joint Commission and serves Huntington Beach and the surrounding area.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintained as current.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.

Responsibilities
