About The Position
We have plenty of work for Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) at the National Institute of Research (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. CNAs with Maryland Certification are eligible for these positions. Day Shifts are 7am -7:30pm and Night Shifts are 7pm-7:30am. You can make your own schedule with never any on-call requirements. Float to different units serving different acuity patients who are all on research protocols & treatments and need constant observation and help with ADLs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA/PCT in a hospital setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current unrestricted Maryland CNA certification
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent care to patients
- Respond to call lights
- Assist nurses on unit
- Answer phones and do light administrative duties
- Transport patients
- Perform ADLs, Accu-checks, bladder scans, administer medications, chart
