About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate, personalized care to residents at The Summit Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Plantsville, Connecticut. The role assists residents with activities of daily living, monitors their health, provides emotional support and companionship, and works with the nursing team to help ensure high-quality care. The position offers full-time and part-time shifts. A sign-on/retention bonus of up to $2,500 is available. Requirements

Valid state certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Compassionate and empathetic nature.
Interest in the nursing needs of aged and chronically ill people, with the ability to work with both.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Monitor and record vital signs.
Provide residents with emotional support and companionship.
Assist residents with mobility and transfers.
Collaborate with the nursing team to develop care plans.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
