About The Position

Benchmark at Newtown is hiring Full Time CNAs to join their team for 1st Shift (7a-3p) and 2nd Shift (3p-11p). The main role will be to deliver care to residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, document care, report changes in resident health, engage residents in meaningful activities, and provide emotional support. Customer service skills are essential to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care. Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care
• Other duties as needed
