About The Position
Mountain Valley is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a calling to provide exceptional care during life's most profound moments. This role involves making a real difference in the lives of patients and their families by providing essential care services, monitoring patient conditions, offering emotional support, documenting care, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and upholding professionalism. The position is based in the Mt. Airy, Dobson Area and serves the Yadkin, Elkin, and Wilkes service areas.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in North Carolina
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential care services, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, with respect and sensitivity.
- Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Offer a comforting presence and a listening ear to patients and their families, helping them navigate through challenging times.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided and observations made.
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to create and implement comprehensive and coordinated care plans.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions.
