About The Position
CareOne at Parsippany is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants in Parsippany, New Jersey, with full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities across multiple shifts. The CNA provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and supports residents’ age-related care needs. Duties include feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving residents, and changing linens. The role requires an active nursing aide certification in the state of operation. Experience caring for patients of all ages in a skilled nursing facility is preferred, along with dedication to quality care. Requirements
- Must be a certified or state-tested Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
- Must be a supportive team member and contribute to and model teamwork.
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and willingness to handle difficult residents.
- Must be able to relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
