About The Position

Prepares records, processes orders and provides patient care in the hospital setting, supporting the nursing philosophy. This role is responsible for processing orders and patient charges accurately and timely, answering phones and call lights, directing visitors, maintaining medical records, managing supplies, and providing direct patient care as assigned according to CNA job duties and expectations. The position also involves documenting care, maintaining a clean environment, floating to various units as needed, participating in performance improvement activities, verifying charges, facilitating a welcoming environment, and assembling patient folders and charts. The role also includes setting up Rauland responder/Vocera/versus for new staff.

Requirements

Completion of a CNA program.
Completion of a Unit Clerk course or equivalent on the job training (which can be provided).
Nursing Assistant Certification in applicable state.
Approved CPR or BLS certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Processes orders and patient charges in an accurate and timely manner.
