Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program (Paid) October
About The Position
Mozaic Senior Life is offering a sponsored Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program for qualified candidates. This 4-week program includes classroom and clinical education to teach essential skills for caring for individuals at Mozaic or in their homes. The program is fully sponsored, covering tuition, materials, and books. Classes are scheduled to begin October 19, 2026, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., meeting the state requirement of 100 hours of training. Selected candidates will receive free tuition, books, and materials, and an offer of employment as a full-time CNA upon completion. Selected applicants will be responsible for purchasing white scrubs, white shoes, and a watch with a second hand.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- For Mozaic employees: Must be an employee in good standing (including attendance).
- For external candidates: Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
- Must pass a physical and PPD test.
- Valid CT Driver's License (DMV check for Home Care employees).
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability to attend the 4-week course.
- Agreement to work full-time for one year upon certification.
- Agreement to repay program costs if agreement is not fulfilled.

- Letter of recommendation from your Supervisor (for current employees).
- Two letters of recommendation from non-related personal references (for external candidates).

Responsibilities
- Attend 4-week CNA training program (classroom and clinical).
- Meet punctuality and attendance standards for the course.
- Work as a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant at Mozaic Senior Life for one year upon certification.
- Hours and assignments will be determined by organizational needs and may include work at Mozaic and Home Care.
- Work every other weekend as part of the schedule.
- Repay the cost of the program ($1,000) if the agreement is not fulfilled or the course is not completed.
