About The Position
This is a training program for individuals interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Mason Health and Rehabilitation. The program offers classroom instruction and clinical experience, with the goal of helping graduates find full-time or part-time positions within the facility. The program aims to equip students with the skills to care for residents and make a difference in their lives. Upon successful completion, there are opportunities for free QMA classes.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years old or older.
- Successfully pass the English, Reading and Math Competency Test.
- Must Pass Criminal Background and Drug Screen.
- A passion for caring for people.
- Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and other personnel.
- The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA.
- Knowledge on the use of personal computers, Word and Excel, and working with office machines such as fax and copying machines.

Responsibilities
