About The Position
Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel to help achieve each patient’s plan of care. This position is in Pediatrics. The posting lists third shift and indicates full- or part-time work, with days or nights available.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must possess a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire from an American Heart Association (AHA)-endorsed program; this requirement applies to new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later.
- Depending on department needs, Medication Aide certification and completion of an Injectables course may be required after hire in outpatient settings.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
