About The Position
A Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible and accountable for assisting the RN or LPN in patient care, including gathering information to aid in the implementation of patient care. This vital role involves providing essential assistance and comfort to patients, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their healthcare journey. Delray Medical Center, part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 536-bed acute care hospital with over 1,700 employees and 700 physicians, serving southern Palm Beach County for over 40 years. It is a community hospital and state-designated Level I Trauma Center, offering specialized services in cardiac and vascular care, orthopedics, neurosciences, emergency care, and weight-loss surgery. The center also includes Pinecrest Rehabilitation and Outpatient Hospital, a state-designated brain and spinal cord injury rehabilitation program, and Fair Oaks Pavilion, a 53-bed adult psychiatry unit.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the RN or LPN in patient care
- Assists with gathering information, which assists the RN/LPN in the implementation of patient care
- Provide essential assistance and comfort to patients
