The Staff Pad has partnered with a respected healthcare organization in Russellville, Alabama to hire compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for the Med -Surg unit. As a CNA on the Med -Surg unit, you will play a vital role in supporting nurses and caring for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast -paced, high -acuity environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a hospital or Med -Surg setting preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
  • Compassion and dedication to delivering outstanding patient care
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively

  • Ability to prioritize and respond quickly to changing patient needs
  • Commitment to maintaining patient dignity, safety, and confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • Monitor and accurately record vital signs, intake/output, and other patient information
  • Support admissions, discharges, and patient transfers throughout the unit
  • Assist with ambulation, repositioning, and fall prevention measures
  • Provide post -operative care support by monitoring patient comfort and reporting concerns
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe patient rooms and clinical areas
  • Respond promptly and compassionately to call lights and patient needs
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN or care team
  • Assist with specimen collection and transport following protocol
  • Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times
  • Deliver exceptional, patient -centered care in a fast -paced Med -Surg environment
