About The Position

This role is for a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Long Term Care setting at Alexian Village of Tennessee, specifically within the Skilled Nursing department. The position is full-time and scheduled for nights. The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, monitor residents for changes, report these changes to nursing staff, maintain a safe environment, and assist nurses with physician-ordered care.

Requirements

• Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a nursing home type facility.

Nice To Haves

• BLS Provider preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with personal care, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Observe residents closely and report physical, mental, or emotional changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Partner with nurses on physician-ordered care.
