Requirements

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to assist with patient movement (up to 100+ lbs with support)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous CNA experience preferred, but not required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility
  • Monitor and document vital signs, height, weight, and other patient information
  • Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
  • Help serve meals and assist with documenting nutritional intake
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
  • Observe and report changes in patient conditions to the RN
  • Collect and transport specimens following established procedures
  • Assist with patient positioning, ambulation, and comfort care
  • Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and call lights
  • Follow infection control, safety, and hospital protocols
  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients across all age groups
