About The Position
Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for Full-Time opportunities. Eligible candidates with two or more years of experience may qualify for a $2,500 sign-on bonus. LWRMC is an award-winning, high-quality, acute-care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission, consistently ranking high in quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. The medical staff includes over 750 physicians and allied health professionals. LWRMC has expanded its services and updated technologies to better serve the surrounding communities, offering services including emergency services, general and robotic surgery, maternity care, cardiology, orthopedic surgery, stroke care, sleep medicine, urology, and wound care. This role assumes responsibility for facilitating and enhancing the delivery of patient care and the patient experience under the direction of the RN. Duties include patient care, activities of daily living, and general support duties such as clerical, stocking, courier, and transport. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at start date.
- CNA Certification required.
- Demonstrated track record for excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
- For Emergency Room, CPI required within 6 months.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as Unit Secretary/ Nursing Assistant, Medic or EMT/Paramedic, preferred.
