About The Position

Works as a direct patient caregiver under the supervision of professional clinical staff in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ICU is a specialized section of the hospital that provides comprehensive and continuous care for persons who are critically ill and can benefit from treatment. Montrose Regional Health's ICU has the tools and medical professionals to manage critical care patients and assist them in their greatest time of need, combining the latest in healthcare technology with a highly qualified and trained staff.

Requirements

• Certification in the State of Colorado following completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant course.
• At least 3 months experience after completion of Certified Nursing Assistant course.
• BCLS required upon hire.
• Completion of all ECG courses assigned and cross-training to Telemetry Desk required within 9 months of hire.
• The ability to make appropriate decisions based on fact and knowledge is required.
