Requirements
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care
Nice To Haves
- Previous skilled nursing or sub-acute experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff
- Respond to call lights and resident requests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Provide assistance with meals and hydration as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility policies
- Promote resident dignity, privacy, and independence at all times
