About The Position

This is a full time opportunity to work Baylor shifts, requiring 36 weekend hours (12-hour shifts) while being paid for a standard 40-hour work week. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Job duties are accomplished in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides.
Current BLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
Performing patient care activities within the limits of the position.
Not administering medications or therapy.
Not assuming independent responsibility for patient care.
Accomplishing job duties in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health.
Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
