About The Position

Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their exceptional care team. CNAs play an essential role in providing daily hands-on care and supporting residents' individualized care plans under the direction of licensed nursing staff and supervisors. This is a part-time position with an AM shift on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Requirements

• Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered care.

Nice To Haves

• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide compassionate and respectful hands-on care.
• Assist residents with transfers, mobility, positioning, and ambulation.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staff.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and call lights.
• Assist with meals and encourage proper hydration and nutrition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Accurately document care provided according to facility policies.
• Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the care team.
