About The Position
Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of mental health and medical services for the Georgia Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A) to join our day shift team at GDCP | Jackson, GA. This role is ideal for CNAs who prefer consistent day hours, competitive pay, and a structured clinical environment without the constant interruptions and stress of traditional hospital settings. This role supports both physical and behavioral health needs within a secure correctional environment.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of CNA experience (Behavioral Health, Correctional. or ER experience)
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification - State certification required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR or BLS
- Ability to obtain security clearance via the GADOC, including drug screen and criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Support medical and mental health teams in patient care delivery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Follow established safety, security, and infection control protocols
