Requirements

Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant Program required
Active North Carolina CNA Certification in good standing required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate and dependable work ethic
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, or related experience and / or training.
Successful completion of State-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course.
Participates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of resident's protected health information.
Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law.

Nice To Haves

Long-term care experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care while working as part of a collaborative healthcare team
