About The Position

Right at Home Northwest Oklahoma City is looking for dedicated CNAs to join our team and provide quality, compassionate in-home care to clients throughout our service area. Our caregivers play an important role in helping seniors and adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. This is an opportunity to use your CNA skills while building meaningful relationships with clients and becoming an important part of their daily support system.

Requirements

  • Currently certified as a CNA in Oklahoma.
  • Compassionate and genuinely committed to helping others.
  • Dependable, responsible, and punctual.
  • Comfortable providing one-on-one care in a client’s home.
  • Professional and respectful when interacting with clients and families.
  • Strong communicators who can work effectively with clients and the care team.
  • Able to follow care plans and instructions carefully.
  • Willing to provide reliable, quality care to every client.
  • Six months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in health care (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant course.
  • Interpersonal relations abilities.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous home-care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Providing compassionate personal care based on each client’s individual needs.
  • Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Supporting clients with mobility and transfers when needed.
  • Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and other daily household needs.
  • Helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
  • Following individualized care plans and providing care according to established guidelines.
  • Observing clients and communicating important changes or concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintaining professionalism, respect, and confidentiality while providing care.
  • Building positive relationships with clients and their families.
