Siena Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a Generations Healthcare facility, is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to join their team. Siena Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a Skilled Nursing Facility with a secured STP Unit that specializes in the treatment of clients with psychiatric diagnoses. Their patients suffer varying degrees of physical ailments, and all have a secondary diagnosis of mental illness. The facility provides a transition from acute-care psychiatric treatment to a residential setting. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and joining a team of caring professionals providing compassionate service to residents.
Requirements
- CA, Certified Nursing Assistant.
- 1 Year of Behavioral Health experience in a locked or secure setting.
- Knowledge and experience with de-escalation and redirection.
- Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Desire to be part of a dynamic team.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to residents with psychiatric diagnoses and varying degrees of physical ailments.
- Facilitate the transition of patients from acute-care psychiatric treatment to a residential setting.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Utilize knowledge and experience with de-escalation and redirection techniques.
