Requirements
- Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care
Nice To Haves
- Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, and mobility
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence
- Build positive relationships with residents through companionship and attentive care
- Respond promptly and appropriately to resident needs and call lights
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Assist with transfers, positioning, ambulation, and other mobility needs
- Accurately document care provided according to facility policies and procedures
- Review shift reports and care assignments to promote continuity of care
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident living and care areas
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary team
