About The Position

Canon Lodge Care Center, part of Life Care Centers of America, is seeking a passionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the clinical team of their 60-bed skilled nursing home in Canon City, Colorado. The facility has received accolades such as '800 Club' membership in 2025, a 5-Star CMS Rating for Quality Measures, and a 4.6 Google star rating. Life Care Centers of America is a 47-year industry leader in healthcare with over 200 locations. The CNA will be an important member of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. This includes delivering direct care such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
• Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
• CPR certification must remain current during employment
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities
