About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists with unit and patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The role has full access to patient health information and may have access to medication storage areas, excluding controlled substances, as related to job responsibilities. The schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, full-time at 36 hours per week. The posting notes sign-on bonus and benefits eligibility.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent, unless currently a high school student participating in the CATS program for North Carolina.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Listed in good standing with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation.
- Able to pass a basic FIT test and possess a full range of body motion, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
- Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
