About The Position

Lakeview Health Center & Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join their team. This role involves providing compassionate care to residents with dignity, respect, and a person-centered approach. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, support them during mealtimes, monitor their condition, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. The position is benefit-eligible and requires adherence to care plans and participation in restorative care programs.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin CNA certification and listing on the Nurse Aide Registry
• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to person-centered care, integrity, and professionalism
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting, walking, and use of mechanical lifts
• Valid driver’s license (for those transporting residents)
• Successful completion of Wisconsin Caregiver background check

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, daily living activities, and room care
• Support residents during mealtimes and follow individual diet guidelines
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Take vital signs, weights, and provide basic skin care
• Document care provided and follow individualized care plans
• Promote resident independence, safety, and comfort
• Participate in restorative care programs, ambulation, and transfers
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and uphold residents’ rights
• Attend required in-service trainings and maintain CNA certification
