About The Position
Timbers of Jasper is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program. This program is designed for individuals with a caring spirit who want to turn it into a career. No previous experience is required, only a commitment to providing compassionate care. The program includes free classroom and hands-on training, allowing you to become a CNA in just a few weeks. Upon completion and passing the state test, you can secure a position at one of ASC's 100 locations across Indiana, with further opportunities for career advancement in nursing.
Requirements
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to residents.
- Completion of the Nurse Aide training program and testing.
- Ability to secure a position at one of ASC's locations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
- Helping residents at mealtimes, including transportation and feeding assistance.
- Repositioning and transferring residents between beds, wheelchairs, and toilets.
- Obtaining resident vital signs and recording observations.
- Responding to patient call lights and fulfilling requests.
- Building meaningful relationships with residents, providing care and companionship.
