About The Position
St. Francis Healthcare Center is looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our caring team on a Full-Time basis. AM, PM, and NOC shifts are available. As a CNA, you'll play an important role in providing quality, hands-on care and ensuring our residents are safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity and respect. Requirements
- Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Compassionate and resident-focused approach
- Dependable, professional, and reliable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Previous skilled nursing experience prefer
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility, and repositioning.
- Monitor residents and report any changes in condition to the licensed nurse.
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
- Accurately document care and services provided.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Promote resident dignity, privacy, independence, and quality of life.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team.
- Follow all infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
