About The Position

At Garden Terrace Alzheimer's Center of Excellence, we are more than a nursing facility — we are a specialized center dedicated to caring for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related disorders. Caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia requires patience, understanding, compassion, and a true passion for making a difference. Our clinical team plays a vital role in creating meaningful moments, promoting dignity, and providing comfort for residents and their families. Our community features six secured dementia-care wings, including specialized living areas designed to support residents at different stages of memory loss and cognitive decline. Our experienced team provides skilled nursing services focused on dementia-specific needs, supportive therapies and rehabilitation services, a safe and secure environment that promotes independence, and compassionate care focused on quality of life. We are currently seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (C N A) to add to our team of professionals. As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
  • Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
  • Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
