Float Pool Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA
About The Position
Genesis Healthcare is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for their float pool opportunities at multiple affiliated skilled nursing centers within a geographic area. The role involves delivering efficient and effective nursing care, achieving positive clinical outcomes, and ensuring patient/family satisfaction. CNAs will perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services essential to the personal needs and comfort of patients. Requirements
- Successful completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant program is required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors at the work site when responding to their medical and physical needs.
- Basic knowledge of computers or willingness to learn is required.
- Must attend a minimum of 12 hours continuing education programs provided by the center to maintain certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient and effective nursing care.
- Achieve positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
- Perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
- Work a minimum of two (2) shifts a week including every other weekend or full-time hours depending on open shifts.
