About The Position

Best Hospice Care of Texas is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and caring Full-Time CNA to join our hospice team! As a Hospice CNA, you’ll provide hands-on personal care and support to patients in their homes and facilities while helping them maintain comfort, dignity, and quality of life. You’ll work closely with our nurses and interdisciplinary team to make a meaningful difference for patients and their families each day.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification
• Compassionate and respectful approach to patient care
• Dependable with strong time-management and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently in patients’ homes and facilities
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

Nice To Haves

• Hospice or home health experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Assist patients with mobility, positioning, and other activities of daily living
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate nurse
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families
• Follow individualized plans of care and safety guidelines
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Travel to patient homes and facilities throughout the assigned service area
• Communicate and collaborate with the hospice care team
