About The Position

Alvita Care is seeking CT CNAs for private duty homecare in Northern Connecticut. This role offers flexible hours with part-time and per diem schedule options, including 6, 8, or 12-hour shifts available for both day and night. Availability Monday through Friday is preferred, but weekend availability is a plus. Experience in memory care, palliative care, ADL, and transfers is beneficial.

Requirements

• Valid CNA certificate in the state of Connecticut.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant CNA experience.
• Updated medicals/vaccinations or willingness to obtain.
• Completed drug screen or completed Habituation Form.
• Must successfully complete Alvita Care process to accept cases.
• Must successfully complete the onboarding process.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, or healthcare settings.
• Memory Care experience.
• Palliative care experience.
• ADL experience.
• Transfer experience.
• M-F availability.
• Weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and quality patient care in a homecare setting.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
• Perform transfers as needed.
• Administer care in memory care and palliative settings.
