About The Position

Life Care Centers of America operates Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) that provide long-term care for residents needing ongoing skilled support and compassionate daily assistance, and short-term, sub-acute rehabilitation for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. This role involves collaborative, interdisciplinary care, including nursing, therapy, and medical teams working together. The company is a privately owned 47-year industry leader in healthcare with more than 200 locations across the U.S. They are seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. This includes delivering direct care to patients such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
  • Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
  • Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
