About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Chevy Chase is looking to hire a capable flexible Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA to provide companionship and perform caregiving duties. This elderly care CNA position earns a competitive wage of $20-$23 /hr. Requirements

Current CNA license in Maryland
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Reliable transportation
Punctual and dependable
Respectful and kind

Nice To Haves

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
2+ years of CNA or home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts!
Willing to train

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and perform caregiving duties.
Assist with daily tasks to allow clients to live as independently as possible.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Prepare meals.
Grocery shopping.
Provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia.
Assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing.
Maintain client dignity while assisting with proper personal hygiene.
Keep a log of duties performed during the shift.
Submit accurate documentation to ensure consistent elderly care.
Check in with the office often, providing timely updates regarding the needs of clients.
